    • Paint a picture Interactive program to paint your own pictures. Select from various colours and change brush size to create effects.

    • Artists Toolkit Activities Explore the tools and techniques that artists use including colour, texture, line and shape. Variety of fun interactive games to explore techniques and create your own.

    • Matisse's Pieces Select from the shapes familiar to Matisse's work then add a splash of colour. Inspire your own work in the style of Matisse.

    The Queen's Jubilee

    To commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee each class were assigned the challenge of producing a portrait using at least one of the art skills which they have been working on this year. I think that they have done a fantastic job!

    The Knife Angel

    In November 2021 Year Six walked to Blackburn Cathedral where the Knife Angel was on show for public viewing. This formed the basis of their environmental art study and project linked to topical issues in PSHE.

    Reception Class - Artist visit

    In November Reception Class had a very special visitor from one of our very own talented parents! The children were able to explore and ask questions about these fabulous 3D sculptures which are created entirely from cardboard. The children then used their modelling area to design and make their own sculptures.
