To commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee each class were assigned the challenge of producing a portrait using at least one of the art skills which they have been working on this year. I think that they have done a fantastic job!
In November 2021 Year Six walked to Blackburn Cathedral where the Knife Angel was on show for public viewing. This formed the basis of their environmental art study and project linked to topical issues in PSHE.
In November Reception Class had a very special visitor from one of our very own talented parents! The children were able to explore and ask questions about these fabulous 3D sculptures which are created entirely from cardboard. The children then used their modelling area to design and make their own sculptures.
