Printing Workshop
Year 5 printing workshop at Blackburn Museum
As part of the Festival of making Year 5 were fortunate enough to take part in a printing workshop at Blackburn Museum. They began by looking at some of the artwork and creating their own sketches. The children also got to see 1875 Columbian Printing Press in action! The children then worked alongside resident artist Julia Swarbrick and learnt how to use various techniques to create simple prints.
The finished products were amazing. Well done Year 5.
