  • Stations of the Cross

Year 2 acted out and led a whole school reflection on the Stations of the Cross.

The Stations of the Cross – or the Way of the Cross – is a Lenten devotion which helps us to reflect prayerfully on Jesus’ final steps on the way to his crucifixion and death. It marks 14 different stages of Christ’s Passion from the moment he was condemned to death, to the receiving of the Cross and then the events on the walk to his crucifixion.

This was a perfect way to continue our journey through Lent, thinking about the sad events which happened in Jesus' life before the joyous events of Jesus' resurrection at Easter.

Well done and thank you Year 2!
