ππWELL DONE EVERYONE ππ
Huge congratulations to our year 3&4 Sportshall Athletics team who worked incredibly hard to gain 3rd place on Wednesday at OLSJ. We have some future superstars in our school πππΎ The children will receive their bronze medals in assembly today.
Well done everyone. We are so proud of you βοΈβοΈβοΈ
Year 5 have been focusing on futuristic drawings. They have explored different techniques by studying Teis Albers ‘Moonwalk’ and applying some of his methods to our artwork. The children sketched their vision of the future, creating a collagraph plate which the children printed and drew on. Have a look at their amazing work!
Year 1 have been mixing primary and secondary colours to create magnificent works of art in the style of Jasper Johns and Clarice Cliffs.
In Science, Year 6 have been exploring the heart and how it works. As part of their investigations they have dissected a lambs heart and investigated how the different parts work.
Huge well done to our amazing Gymnastics team π€Έπ½βοΈπ€Έπ½
They competed against 15 schools yesterday at St Bedes high school and came 4th! The highest position we have ever finished.
Super super proud of them all π
We had an amazing morning in the forest. Year 3s topic this term is ‘The Romans’, so we painted our date of birth in Roman numerals with mud and sticks, we built colosseums, made weapons using sticks and potato peelers and even played Boggle π
Well done everyone βοΈ
