Year 5

Welcome to year 5's Class page!

Mr name is Mr. Laher, and I am thrilled to be your child's Year 5 teacher this academic year. Alongside me is Miss Hussain, and together we are dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for each student. 

Year 5 is a crucial year for students as they transition from lower key stage two to upper key stage two. Throughout the year, we will be covering a wide range of topics, with a focus on building upon the skills and knowledge acquired in previous years, whilst also introducing new concepts and learning. 

We recognise that effective communication between home and school is essential for your child's success. To stay updated with the latest news, events and learning experiences in Year 5, make sure to check this class page regularly. We will share photos of your children enjoying various activities, including educational trips and special events. 

Please take note that our designated PE day is Thursday, and it is important for your child to come to school in full PE kit on that day. This ensures they are prepared and comfortable during PE lessons.
